Ashley Conklin, PT, DPT, PCS, a graduate of the University of Scranton’s Physical Therapy Program began her career in 2005 at New York University’s Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. While there, Ashley gained extensive experience working with children of all ages with varied diagnoses across many settings including pediatric rehab, pediatric ICU, medically based preschool, and early intervention. After 5.5 years at NYU Ashley moved to NJ and started a family. In 2011, Ashley began working at Children’s Specialized Hospital outpatient therapy facility in Hamilton, NJ. In the spring of 2012 Ashley obtained her Board Certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Association. Ashley also holds certifications in TheraTogs application and fitting, clinical education, and is experienced with serial casting application. In addition to her clinical expertise Ashley also serves as adjunct faculty co-teaching the pediatrics course content in both the Rutgers South Campus and University of Scranton Physical Therapy Doctoral Programs. She is an APTA pediatric section member who has conducted and presented various research studies at the National level. Ashley is a passionate and dedicated pediatric therapist who empowers the children she works with to reach their full potential. Ashley resides in Hamilton, NJ with her husband, son and daughter.
