Fran Swart,
Yoga Instructor

Introducing therapeutic yoga and movement to clients of all ages, Fran brings a compassionate focus to those with special needs.  She enjoys creating programs to meet the specific needs of each class that she leads, teaching several customized, weekly classes in schools for people with autism in the Princeton area.  Fran also offers private sessions to help clients more fully live the life they want to live.

A certified yoga therapist and yoga teacher, Fran is registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the Yoga Alliance. She has over 1,500 hours of training, including teacher training for teaching yoga and mindfulness to children in schools and for children with special needs. She received her BA from Wellesley College.

In the classes listed below, parents and kids are guided together through playful and soothing neurodevelopmental movements and activities that address challenges, such as coordination, impulsivity, anxiety, difficulty focusing, etc…. At the end of each class, there’s a home program with movements, poses and games to do together at home that are fun, bonding and soothing.
